At The Mockup Studio, we get it. You're spending hours creating mockups when you should be creating products. We're makers ourselves — and we've lived the frustrations of slow, clunky, one-size-fits-all mockup creation. That's why we built a platform designed specifically for personalised product sellers, engravers, and creatives who want to spend less time fiddling with Photoshop layers and more time growing their business.

Our Story

We were tired of watching talented makers waste hours on mockup creation. Michelle (Technical Director) was building automation tools for other industries and thinking, "Why doesn't this exist for personalised sellers?" Emma (Creative Director) was producing thousands of mockups manually and thinking the exact same thing.

So we teamed up.

Michelle brought years of technical product development and scalable automation expertise — she's the problem-solver behind our Photoshop plugin and bulk generation technology. Emma brought a creative eye shaped by producing realistic mockups for engravers and makers — overseeing the detail, styling, and product accuracy across both studio-created and AI-assisted mockup templates.  She's the detail-obsessed force ensuring every template feels real, from slate and bamboo through to ceramic mugs and wooden keepsake boxes.

Together, we built what we wished existed: The Mockup Factory & The Mockup Studio.

What We Do

Together, The Mockup Factory & The Mockup Studio form a hybrid marketplace and subscription platform that puts sellers in control:

Premium Mockup Marketplace – Buy beautiful, product-specific templates (slate plaques, wooden boxes, ceramic mugs) individually or in themed packs. Use them in Photoshop (to take advantage of the included smart object placement and distortion) or use the supplied JPG with any graphics software or web app.  Our collection now includes both studio-shot mockups and selected AI-assisted scenes, allowing us to offer more variety while keeping the product focus makers need.

Bulk Generator Subscriptions – Upload your designs once, generate hundreds of mockups in minutes. Choose Basic (clean placement) or Pro (realistic engraved and printed effects). No Photoshop skills required.
